Floral Landscapes

My love of the natural world and a keen interest in botany make it inevitable that I would want to paint what I describe as floral landscapes.  Many of these paintings feature the flowers of Dartmoor, others from further afield, namely Puglia in Southern Italy.  Puglia is heavily planted with olive groves but just occasionally a piece of land remains uncultivated and it is there that the daisies, poppies are free to run riot.
